I loved everything about this film. I love R. Pats trying not to be hot. I loved how absurd it was. Bizarre premise that could have gone over into too much silliness but executed so well!

I enjoyed this film at give it a solid 4/5 but I hesitate to give it the kind of praise everyone else seems to. Madison was excellent, I loved the setting, many funny parts but it was far too long (actively groaning at the last 30 minutes — I just wanted to leave) and the ending felt forced and tacked on. Fun film, likely in my top ten of the year but not in the top five.
Looking back I’m not surprised to have come away feeling this way after seeing Baker as writer, director, editor and EP.
