The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 2005
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A slightly sole crushing and uninspired adaptation. Such a funny book, still a funny movie. But also just shows where the corse material was more detailed and didn’t translate well to screen.
It’s really all quite depressing and pessimistic.
Still pretty goofy and fun. But at points incredibly overstimulating and obnoxious.
Partly due to acting decisions or lighting or even how some of the shots were framed.I’d love to see a full multi hour long adaptation of the full book series. But idk if that’s ever going to happen.
Still a fun rewatch :3

I thought long and hard. This deserves to be my first 5 star. If you’ve watched his back log of work, and you have the ability to look through jokes that may be offensive and listen to what Dave is saying, you will see the genius in his art. And you will understand in this show why he is still the god of all comedians. And why he is one of my all time favorite humans to walk this painful land. And why he deserves the 5 stars in this review.
