Although nearly direct quotes were taken from the memoir, this was a different story from the one I read. It wasn't too bad, but I didn't enjoy the way that everyone seemed to so easily forgive and forget about the father's actions. They brush everything off by saying that "life was always fun with him", which is truly just a horrible way of saying abuse.
