    Extremely mediocre. The twist is a mockery. The characters and their motivations are ridiculous - which is not that uncommon for giallo, but generally there's other qualities going on which balance that out, and that's not the case here. This was made-for-TV and you can tell as much. You can also tell Lamberto had been working on the excellent "Tenebrae" by Dario Argento as there are moments which are directly borrowed stylistically: the only redeeming quality is that the cinematography isn't awful. It also seemed rushed, but then again I don't know how the fact that they cut it for cinema instead of TV influenced that.

    A film that seemed promising in that it started out as a drama with erotic elements thrown in - it worked quite well with the beautiful landscapes and photography, despite suffering from the plague that haunts a lot of modern cinema - color grading basically creating a teal and orange look.     A significant movie, only in that it was the first to be made in color from Portugal. The rest is really quite abysmal.
