Juno 2007
A fantastic, hilarious, heartbreaking, beautiful film. The soundtrack is one of my favorite movie soundtracks ever. Elliot Page is phenomenal in this role. The story of Juno puts into light the reality of unplanned pregnancy, general teen angst, and even grooming in an easy to digest and entertaining way. Juno is one of my favorite movie characters of all time. If you can’t tell, movies that make me both laugh and cry are my favorites.

Brave 2012
The greatest Disney/Pixar film and nobody can change my mind. There is no way I could tell you how many times I’ve seen this movie, and yes I still sob every time. We too often take advantage of the women who raise us. This movie is a reminder to be grateful for the mother I have, despite our differences. Merida’s strength as an oldest daughter/child, her innate craving for adventure and independence and her ability to learn from her mistakes make her easily the best Disney princess. I. Love. This. Movie.
