  "pretentious" and "camp" are words that get thrown around a lot. Everyone kind of has their own understandings of them so they're subjective and tonal, sometimes it's complimentary sometimes its derogatory. Sometimes their mutually exclusive, sometimes intertwined. And sometimes sincerity is mistaken for irony, and irony is mistaken for sincerity. It all depends on how charitable a viewer is willing to be, or at least that's how I tend to view it.

  I was hooting and hollering the whole time. Do not sleep on this. It's so stylish and so efficient and so Soderbergh. Gosh I love the movies
