I don’t think the flow of the movie was that great and I see why people disliked it. I gave it 3.5 stars because of all the callbacks and catchphrases from the show and I thought that it was a solid prequel that shows why Tony has an array of reasons to act the way he did in the future. The storyline itself was not great and seemed rushed. I think this would have been better as a mini series rather than a movie. Finally, the ending was absolutely incredible despite my critiques. Very cool experience for fans of Sopranos.

Goodfellas encapsulates a realistic version of what being a gangster is through the eyes of Henry Hill, played by the late Ray Liotta. From the outside, it seemed like all of the guys working for Paulie had it made. In reality, the depiction of the lives of the mobsters is much more honest which was virtually unseen at this point in cinema. Goodfellas was a fresh approach to how mob movies were produced.
