  Lacks the whimsy and romanticism of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg but doesn’t compensate with any real depth.
  The themes of universal romantic experiences and the cyclical nature of love are not lost on me, they’re just not portrayed very interestingly.
  Beautiful beautiful film though.
