  don't mess with Carey Mulligan. to be honest, she owned this movie. she WAS the movie. i'm actually glad they didn't cast anybody else.

  also, points were made and people shouldn't overlook them anymore, we're so tired.

  I'm watching this after reading the book and I feel like this story lost all its intimacy with this adaptation. If you watch the movie without reading the book, you'll definitely miss loads of things. They tried to summarise too much and by doing so, some important points or characters were mostly irrelevant, which could cause detachment from this.
