  I was surrounded by total freaks for this - one suffering with what I can only describe as the plague, a man who yelped every time an animal came on screen who might be mistreated, and an unhinged amount of audience heckling (rightly at the stupid bank advert and less rightly at other people just living their lives). Film excellent. How tf did they make it.

  that recorded argument scene is maybe the best written argument of all time - also my personal hell being married to someone who resents your success, huge ick

  hype about dog acting is legit, human performances also as.ton.ish.ing and tbh an ambiguous performative French courtroom drama is so crack to me always 

  slightly generous star rating bc who cares 

  but I did kinda want it to narratively punch me in the face at the end and it didn’t .. probs just the dramatist in me craving a compounded tragedy
