  From the moment I saw this at the Fullerton AMC back in 2003 with my father, to watching it monthly either at home or at the Metrograph, no other film has resonated with me as much Lost in Translation. Still very much in my Charlotte phase, but I know that the neon glows of Tokyo are there on the silver screen to bring me comfort when I need it most and to just let me know “You'll figure that out. The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.”

  The home invasion scene brought tears from laughter, but the end brought tears of devastation. Felt as if you were riding the Cyclone during the whole film. One of the best of the year.
