Sorry, Baby 2025
Saw this at Sundance- a beautiful, accurate and realistic way of narrating a trauma. Trauma is a difficult topic to put on screen because of the conflict is internal and comes and goes with time. The quirky, comedic timing gives the character dimension and is a great break from the heavier scenes. I appreciate how the writer and director chose to portray this story in the most realistic way and avoided being flashy, fast paced that audiences are so used to now.
