  the chef looked so much like my uncle it was really hard to pay attention. anyway…
  i think this film had a lot of interesting commentary on the “foodie” epidemic and all the stuck up behavior that comes with it. at times, it almost felt like the film was making fun of itself, and while the plot really wasn’t surprising or unpredictable, i still found myself wondering how it would end. 
  extra praise for nicholas hoult’s performance. i was on the edge of my seat waiting for him to die the entire time.
