  Truly this movie felt like they wanted to make a rom com with Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon, but then they realized they had actually negative chemistry, so they rewrote the whole thing so that they only had to be on screen together for 90 seconds out of the whole two hour movie.

  this felt like every single modern “teen movie” written by 35+ year olds who haven’t spoken to a teenager in 12 years.
  “she said SHE’S taking nathan to the prom? oh no she didn’t. i’m gonna soooo @ her on twitter later and get her hashtag cancelled. then i’m gonna record her reaction and post it on youtube. this is SO going going to become a tiktok challenge 😝”
