Longlegs 2024
Extremely unnerving and paranoia-inducing, but severely lacking depth. There was supposed to be this connection through the paranormal/spiritual and the physical world but it felt like that was just set aside at the end. While the cinematography and imagery was fantastic, it just felt like a vague attempt at relating to religious fear instead of a coherent narrative. If you like the underdeveloped “figure it out” kind of horror movie, it’s great.
