  “the only way to communicate how death really feels is through absence”

  Every aspect of this film manages to encapsulate a feeling i know i’ll have to but never want to relive again. The before, the after, and the change that silence brings is played out beautifully through the seemingly unattached characters and mirrored aesthetically in most every visual / audio aspect. For me this film separates grief from the idea that it’s a singular feeling, rather than an abundance of emotions, memories, fears and your own personalities colliding, and to show this perspective through the three sisters i think is a perfect anecdote to this.
