I really enjoyed the animation in this movie. Element city (the place where most of the movie took place) was so cool looking! So many details! It made me want to jump inside the screen! I enjoyed watching the romance that blossomed between Ember and and Wade, but I thought there was too much focus on their relationship. I enjoyed this movie a lot more than the first Amazing Spider-man. Lots of action, a good story line, romance, and loss. I liked the way the story of Peter’s parents was slowly uncovered. I also found the collaboration between Electro and Harry to be creative. I was sad to see Gwen die, but glad to see the creators actually follow through with a death.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2012
I liked this movie. Andrew Garfield adds a different feel to Spider-man as a character, and has a lot more swagger than Toby Maguire. I liked Dr. Connors as a villain, but I thought he was really gross looking. The whole Gwen Stacy love story was a good addition as well! I prefer her over MJ because she’s loyal 🤝🏼.

I enjoyed most of this movie. I thought the Harry and Peter reconciliation was great, as well as the look into the life and motives of Uncle Ben’s killer. However, I was not a fan of Peter turning emo, or of the addition of venom. I thought both were cringey and unnecessary.
