Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
There were too many stories they were trying to convey. The lyrical songs were not great. Lin Manual Miranda peeked at Hamilton. Moana was okay, but this…not great. As for the dialogue it felt corny and forced. The only redeemable quality was the instrumental score.

Get Out 2017
This was my intro to horror movies since I wrote the genre off 10 years ago after watching The Uninvited in high school. My anxiety did not handle it well, with a very long panic attack afterward. Luckily, my good friend Chloe was there to help calm me down.
With that being said, this was an outstanding movie. The acting was superb. The parallels to the reality that Black folks are subjected to live through is horrifying and the portrayal is needed.
