Venom: The Last Dance 2024

Genuinely wtf was that.
An absolute disaster-class of line delivery, script in shambles (exposition so damn brutal I nearly quit not even five minutes in), and perhaps the least cohesive storyline I’ve ever seen. Each scene managed to be stupider than the last, and not even in the usual silly/exaggerated/stupid-but-fun Venom-coded way of the other films—just in a cringe way. Not to mention my immense disappointment with the instant write-off of Venom in the MCU! A huge let-down. How could they do my boy Venom like this?

Exponentially worse than the last one plot-wise (is there even a plot?) but they make up for it by really leaning into the gayness. Unironically a fun love story. Venemies to Lovers <3

Wicked 2024
I understand that this movie is Part 1 of 2 but I still think a movie should be able to stand on its own regardless. Unfortunately this just felt like it was all exposition with no real plot, basically just build up for the next one!
Also, looked like crap. The lighting really was as horrendous as everyone kept complaining about. If this movie wins Best Picture I think I will spontaneously combust. However, I would be okay with Best Costume Design, because those fits were all fire.
