this is bad-ish. I didn’t expect it to be GOOD, as it is a holiday-themed slasher after all, but there was something about this script that just had me groaning. might be the weird gen-z attempting script that’s clearly not written by someone under the age of 35, or maybe it’s the weird build up to an underwhelming killer reveal, I don’t really know.
I didn’t HATE it though. idk, it was an easy watch and I enjoyed the fancy seats at the VUE we went to so I was finding it hard to hate too hard

amazing. incredible. sensational. maybe i’m blinded by my love for andrew garfield or maybe I just haven’t gotten that post-watch clarity yet, we may never know (at least not until it’s available for me to stream several times over). whichever it may or may not be, i don’t care because watching andrew walk on screen made my entire year. if i were american and had no shame i would’ve clapped right there in the cinema.
