You know it’s a good movie when you can make a riveting dialogue about the mechanics of nuclear physics! Despite my war knowledge there so many things I learned for the first time. Things I didn’t realize: a) how international the scientific team was, b) there were scientists who vehemently opposed using the bomb, c) it was truly a race to the bomb because the nazis would have certainly used it here if they arrived at the technology first, d) Truman was kind of an asshole, e) first time leaning about Strauss
