So beautiful and also so sad. The trailer really doesn’t prepare you for the heartbreak that comes soon after. The movie had shots similar to Euphoria with the classic A24 gut punches

I’m beginning to learn more about the type of audience member I am as I do these reviews & what I took away from babygirl is that I hate when characters break the rules. I was more frustrated than excited by the thrill. The tension was strong but also left me thinking some things were too rushed while others dragged on for too long. I wished we got to learn more about Harris Dickinson’s character rather than just accept his mysterious allure. Yet, still very entertaining and had me shocked with just how far Nicole Kidman would go

This movie’s theme: all bark no bite mama! This may be an unpopular opinion but this did not live up to my expectations. I was expecting dramatic fight scenes and a triumphant finale but instead we got too much sex and an unresolved ending. I did however love the Brooklyn accents and ani’s tough attitude! i also wasn’t expecting this film to be as funny as it was!
Overall, this movie was f*** your boss and team igora!! Would still recommend for my ladies tho!
