a movie about multiple generations of women having to navigate life with the shitty tools they were given and the solidarity that comes from it. really compelling.
both the women in the movie AND the women watching the movie (me) are often several steps ahead of the twists, because we know exactly what this world sometimes entails for us. before it got spelled out, we were already there.
