Wild at Heart 1990
May be my favorite lynch by far. So full of hope and passion, caught off guard by its sincerity to those ideals. Thought it was wonderfully intimate, a breaking down of ideas and barriers that both Laura Dern and Nick Cage pull off sincerely despite the exaggerated performances. Cage’s elvis impression is fantastic, and that was his real singing voice??
Willem Dafoe electric in this. Revitalizes second half. Movie affirms that your actions dont define your ability to love

3 for 1 horror movie with satisfying ending. Blurring lines between comedy and legitimate horror and perversion to an uncomfortable effect. I respect the hustle! Easily enters pantheon of shithead evil children horror villains. Also i thought it was really well shot, such crisp colors…
