Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
In my opinion, the best Scorsese film made. Incredible storytelling of the Osage culture and the different power dynamics that were in place between Native Americans and the others in the 1920s. Leonardo DiCaprio is excellent at playing a complete dummy who has no mind of its own. I liked the juxtaposition of the beautiful cinematography that captures the traditions and ceremonies of the Osages in parallel with the atrocious crimes committed against them by the greed that drives these white men. What an eye opening movie on the genocide of Native Americans that is rarely talked about.
