  Remarkably similar to a TikTok feed, down to the tonal whiplash of watching a girl make silly faces into a camera followed by context-less discussion of Middle East holy sites with no transition in between. I would’ve been obsessed with these if I was 12 in 1932.

  Was not prepared for that dark of an ending: grungy, rebellious, inventive sci-fi in the best way. The fact that two years after this film Max Headroom would become the spokesperson for New Coke is the most Max Headroom dystopian thing ever.
