  The best way to review this movie is to acknowledge that it is a movie of two halves. 

  The first half was a masterpiece. The bootcamp was excellent. We saw a lot of character development, emotions, humor, a bit of everything a war movie needed. In fact, that’s how I’d love every war movie I watch to start with. R. Lee Ermey was brilliant, I think he was one of the main reasons behind the success of the movie.
