  How full circle of a moment, life is so strange. The first time I watched this film it was by recommendation from someone who meant the world to me. Now I watch it to finish my final university essay, and that person and I are living completely separate lives. A reminder that things I may not have started alone can be finished alone. Chihiro started her journey with her family and the help from Haku and co., but ultimately she had to become independent and stand strong on her own.

  This movie gives me so much serotonin I cannot explain. Everything I hear “fuck you mr bitey” I get filled with so much joy. the action sequences are so satisfying and something about the hero’s not having any superpowers makes it even better.
