I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Nothing at all what expected. While watching was thinking “this is just trying to include all the elements of a ‘weird indie movie’, and I don’t see a steady metaphor” but after finishing, letting it marinate, and clicking a couple “I saw the tv glow explained” links, I think it was a complex experienced that was, therefore, shown in a complex way. And I have never gone through that experience so I have no way of judging whether the metaphor is accurate enough. All I can do is watch and admire.
