Would agree with the general consensus that there is not a drop of chemistry between the leads. The vibe was each guy desperately trying to out-act the other.
It did unlock a new ick for me. Man with quivering bottom lip and mouth gaping open to signify any negative emotion. Once you see it, it’s a complete scene stealer. Not in a good way.
Even the Stephen Fry cameo couldn’t save this film. He was completely underused and bizarrely made a villain? Truly hard to finish.
