Past Lives 2023
Tore my insides apart and left them strewn on the ground. I've never seen such a powerful film that had such little dialogue. I took many hours and some therapy to come to terms with the ending. I now know it was the perfect and only way to conclude Nora's story.

Anatomy of a Fall 2023
I wasn't ready for this movie. It's incredible. Spoiler but all I can think about is the fact that Justine Triet never told Sandra Huller whether she was guilty or not while they filmed. The way that you find yourself arguing back and forth in an internal battle even after the movie is over is haunting and brilliant. Triet takes advantage of the story arc we are accustomed to receiving and flips it on it's head until we are unsettled and yearning for me.
