  It’s an amazing display of technical and creative craft. The use of color and dance was inspiring to me and I loved its influence on Lalaland and Babylon.

  The constant crying water people were super annoying and the music was pretty bad in my opinion. Also comparing race and immigration to fire and water feels a little weird to me.

  I do appreciate the representation of male SA, yet it was infuriating watching trauma dumping being romanticized in such a corny way. The only thing it left with me was empathy fatigue and a couple laughs. 

  Also I don’t think it’s great representation because the main character is set up as a sort of pathetic anti hero, so seeing SA through his eyes felt horrifically indiscriminate.
