willem dafoe killed it, as anticipated, and was my favorite character and actor in the film. depp felt strangely relatable—meaning her constant teetering on the edge of a cliff was palpable and felt very real. hoult was incredibly endearing. as for the vampire himself, just wow. that final kiss just …… really sealed the deal for me (pun intended). didn’t know if i should be horny or scared the entire time. loved it.
