1 star for Drew and Daniel’s performance. Went for a romance. This is not a romance. It’s apparently about doing ayahuasca in the forest. There’s a chance I’m the idiot. I said this movie was the absolute worst on TikTok and got DRAGGED. So maybe it was a problem on my end cause I didn’t do enough research. But also you shouldn’t have to do a book report on a novel before seeing a film, and it shouldn’t have been marketed as a romance. 😀

Beautiful movie, minus the cannibal actor. That really ruins it doesn’t it. Damn you armie. Beyond that, this movie really is one everyone should see. Gorgeous cinematography. The scene with Elio and his dad at the end of the movie is so incredibly stunning. Something to be deeply heard and absorbed.
