didn’t add anything new or interesting to the vampire genre except for the ending. i was quite disappointed because as time went on, the lack of depth remained. it relied too much on cheap scares and stunning visuals rather than building out a world in which i must know what happens next. nosferatu was freaky, but that doesn’t make up for the boring writing.
