Maybe the only film I had to watch for the technical screenwriting portion of my degree that didn't bore me to tears. Given that I went in with the incredibly low bar of 'this lecturer is definitely low level racist and only gives us films to watch directed by pompous white men' I have to accept that most people don't have to spend the whole film questioning whether this was him trying to brainwash us or not.
Genuinely a very good film, and if you could read my notes from the assignment you'd also agree -- technically incredibly strong also.
