  Well… it all comes down to how daring Yorgos Lanthimos truly is! The actors and the entire film crew place immense trust in his vision for a film that seamlessly weaves together three interconnected plots into a single narrative. This is what cinema is about: disrupting norms and presenting new challenges for both the actors and the audience.

  I never imagined seeing Willem Dafoe, Emma Stone, or Jesse Plemons (whom I remember from Breaking Bad and PTA’s The Master) break character at such a profound level. The way they shift between characters reminds me of Denis Lavant's multi-performance in Leos Carax’s Holy Motors (2012).
