  This a masterpiece of filmmaking. I was heartbroken, amused and utterly enthralled. Lanthimos has gone above and beyond all of my expectations prior to watching the film (and they were set pretty damn high already).

  Lanthimos presents us with two opposites, loneliness and companionship, but twists them to even greater extremes. The ‘loners’ can live in solitude indefinitely, with the condition that they sustain zero physical and emotional affection from anyone. On the other hand, you have the option to…
