my favorite thriller i saw in the past year. the way the story is set up/played out is so unique and fresh for a horror movie. beautifully shot also reminded me of david lynch in the way color was used at certain points. definitely would recommend.

not my fav film from the director but so aesthetically stunning. in my opinion a skilled adaptation of the book. definitely super interesting and i would recommend to people who like the book/movies of this vein where a straight-cut story isnt the focus. again SOUNDTRACK as with every luca guadagnino film. kurt cobain def would have appreciated this movie and enjoyed his music featured.

i wish more movies like this were made. experimental but not completely unfamiliar. both leads are insanely talented. sully is also so well acted. captures very well the essence of the midwest and its stagnancy and the pain in that. the ending literally stuck with me so deeply nothing has made me so numb in such a long time. i wish i could better put into words how good it is but also i understand why its too freaky for some. but LOVEEEE
