Robby patty’s performance was fantastic but the movie was so goofy I couldn’t take anything too seriously. I was surprised by the “make space great again” hats. I was really looking forward to this movie and I was hoping this was going to be an everything everywhere all at once sci-fi movie with comedy situation, but it kind of missed the mark.

Don’t do drugs kids! Or call upon evil spirits to send a cool Snapchat… This movie was a character study on a depressed teenage girl whose mother recently committed suicide and used communication with the dead as a form of therapy. Mia is a perfect unreliable narrator bc she’s constantly making me feel bad for her but also making me want to bash my head in. She’s the WORST babysitter ever!
The ending of this movie literally made my jaw drop and I hope we get to see what happens to Mia in a sequel.
