Adore this world and these characters. Everything feels so authentic and lived in and sincere. Stunning visuals, incredible score, perfect performances. Still so emotionally resonant for me years later (maybe more now that I have critical thinking skills) and I keep thinking about how crazy it must’ve been to see this in theaters when it first came out. I watched the extended edition for the first time, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back.
