Lisa Frankenstein 2024
Most definitely a cult classic for me now. Seldom do I see a film where I feel like the protagonist is truly offbeat without trying too hard whether from director guidance or actor mistake. Yet watching this Lisa struck such a cord in me as I could see how she was completely herself, unabashedly herself and off putting, and I instantly fell in love with her. Not to mention the extremely desirable affection between her and her dead lover. Can’t beat it.
