had to take a moment to process whether I was satisfied with the sense of openness the ending had, but it wouldn’t be lynch without leaving room for interpretation. in its seemingly fairytale nature, it still felt hauntingly perverse and deeply infused with the trauma. dorothy’s eyes looked heartbreakingly…fucked up. brilliant, vibrant, very 80s.
