Fly fishing, brad pitt looking unbearably handsome, montana, cool rivers and cool pine trees. So aesthetically pleasing. A bit similar to o brother where are thou. A bit too much coming of age for my taste, but its worth it for the scenery alone.

Only possible on late stage capitalism, I was watching this thing like “I can’t believe this is a thing” and to think about the scale that it has achieved? We live in a dystopia. An insane propaganda, with indulgent meta irony that has put Mattel’s sales back on track like never before.

I came to watch this expecting a psychological drama, but the stories are so shallow and meaningless by themselves without the hyperlink that each character isn't even developed to any extent and the film expects you to have a greater interpretation to what it really is: a shallow collective of stories.
