It 2017
The idea of facing (literally) your fears may sound interesting as start of a film script but to turn this idea into enjoyable footage and into something "believable", it should be supported with a better cinematography. It must be convincing in itself even if the film is about something fictional. So, thanks visual effects to make me feel in 2000s again. It was nostalgic.
I might still watch the upcoming film of the series just to see if they get any better.
