Heavy stuff. Kinda hit close to my irrational fears in life.
If you're interested in the subject, there is a movie called 夜逃げ屋本舗 (Yonigeya Hompo) which was quite popular at the time when it came out and the term "yonigé" (= runaway at night) entered popular language.
