Beautiful dancing and set pieces. Lucy and Renfield were the highlights for me, which I didn't expect. Because as well as a ballet fan, I am a huge Dracula fan, I was disappointed by how little Johnathan Harker was in it, much more minor characters ended up with much more time on stage. I felt like the characterisation of Dracula was a little strange. Making him out to be this poor, lost vampire who doesn't mean to be bad just... isn't Dracula to me.
My new favourite musical! It's a shame many English-speakers don't listen to music and musicals in other languages, because Elisabeth and other German musicals like Tanz Der Vampire, Mozart, etc, are beautiful and deserve to get more love from other countries.

When the Quintessons said "Silence or you will be held in contempt of this court" and Hot Rod replied with "I have nothing but contempt for this court!" this film became too powerful.
On a more serious note though, this film was a huge part of my childhood, watching this far too many times with my brother, and still continuing to re-watch it now we're both adults. The best Transformers film that has ever been made.
