Genuinely makes me cry every time I watch it. Every single time. This movie doesn’t deserve the bad reviews it gets. This represents real situations many immigrant families are going through. Immigration isn’t a black and white issue and this movie wasn’t made to criticize or praise it. It was simply for people to acknowledge that the lines for immigration are blurred and more complicated than we may expect
