If you watch the Interstellar IMAX rerelease second row to the front, you will basically be IN the spaceships with Matthew McConaughey with all the vibrations and extra loud noise. I love the immersion from being close to the screen, so  still very worth it even when I struggled to hear some dialogue.

Thankfully, I understand this movie better than I did when I was 12. Still sobbed just as much, and still a little confused at some points in the movie. But what an amazing intergalactic ride.

I will never doubt my ability to walk into a movie completely blind and fall in love with it.

As someone who knew nothing about the plot and had only heard a verse of the song Popular and one line of Defying Gravity, I will now plan to watch this movie at least two more times in theaters. Not only will I hope to be happy... I know I will be happy.

The first half of this movie felt whimsical & fantastical. I was frequently wondering what was reality versus what was happening in the main character's head.

This movie had the potential to be a masterpiece, especially since there were elements I thought were exquisite. Somehow, the ending fell a little flat compared to the rest of the movie.

I think that the movie is still worth watching, and I would show it to my friends. Especially any friends who, like me, may have foolishly added Anya Taylor-Joy's song to a cute little playlist without actually watching the movie first.
