Kept waiting for it to get to the good part and then it just ended. I think it was supposed to be a comedy but none of the jokes really landed for me. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collete’s characters were almost funny but even their whole parody thing felt played out. Pretty disappointing, would not recommend.

Tom Cruise’s acting is the weakest point in my opinion. Very pretty film with amazing colors and landscapes but that’s about it. Dialogue and acting fell flat, characters uninteresting at best with confused motives at worst. As visually impressive as the first but with more plot and action. Absolutely needs to be watched in IMAX as I fear you would simply lose the scale of many of the scenes without it.
